Learn how to finger knit at Menlo Park Library on June 18

On Thursday, June 18, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, adults and youth (ages 6+) are invited to learn one of the simplest and oldest methods for making fabric at the Menlo Park Library (800 Alma St.).
No needles or other tools involved; use just your fingers and yarn to knit an armband, necklace, belt, pet leash, or a tame snake.
One of the simplest and oldest methods for making fabric, finger knitting is the ultimate in integrating STEAM, building fine motor skills, reducing stress, boosting self-esteem, and regulating anxiety, happiness, and mood.
There is no preregistration for this event, but supplies are limited.
