USA Women’s Water Polo Team plays at Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton

Yesterday, Sacred Heart Schools, Atherton hosted the USA Women’s Water Polo Team and Team Australia for a match at the Dunlevie Aquatic Center.

Team USA, a three-time Olympic gold medalist squad coming off a first-place finish at last month’s World Championships in Sydney, faced Team Australia, which finished third.

SHP’s Ella Woodhead (SHP ’22) was named captain of Team USA in honor of the match being played at her alma mater.

Team USA won, defeating Australia 9–5.
