Tour de Menlo returns September 26 to support local students

Cyclists from across the Peninsula will take to the road on Saturday, September 26, for the 2026 Tour de Menlo, the annual community bike ride organized by the Menlo Rotary Community Foundation.
The Tour de Menlo is the Foundation’s major annual fundraiser and supports need-based college scholarships for local high school seniors. The Foundation awards approximately $150,000 in scholarships each year, and many recipients are the first in their families to attend college. Menlo Park Rotarians also continue to mentor scholarship recipients throughout their four years of college.
This year’s Tour offers something for a wide range of cyclists, with 33-, 43- and 65-mile routes through the Peninsula as well as a shorter family ride. All routes begin and end at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1105 Valparaiso Avenue in Menlo Park.
Recommended start times are 7:00 am for the 65-mile route, 8:00 am for the 43-mile route, 9:00 am for the 33-mile route and 10:00 am for the family ride. Along the way, riders will find marked routes, rest stops with refreshments and SAG support. After the ride, participants can gather for lunch in the courtyard, provided this year by Specialty’s.
Since its inception, the Menlo Rotary Community Foundation has awarded more than $2.4 million in four-year scholarships to local students, in addition to more than $175,000 in community college scholarships.
The Tour de Menlo takes place Saturday, September 26, 2026. More information about the routes and register online.
