Menlo Park Sister Cities is now accepting applications for cultural exchange with Bizen Japan

The Menlo Park Sister Cities organization is accepting applications for our cultural exchange with our sister city Bizen, Japan. The exchange will take place in late June/early July of this year. Exact dates are being finalized.

Applicants must be between the ages of 14 and 18 and reside within the city of Menlo Park. As an ambassador for our city you will have the opportunity to meet with Bizen city officials, live with a local host family and participate in many unique cultural experiences.

Past ambassadors have made pottery at the world famous Bizen Yaki pottery studios, visited the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum, visited a soy sauce factory and sampled Soy Sauce ice cream. Get more information online.
