The bike blessings at St. Bede’s Church in Menlo Park this morning came in two rounds. The Rev. Jane McDougle, Priest Associate and Music Director, said she blessed about 25 bikes at 9:00 am right on Sand Hill Rd., which hosts hundreds of cyclists daily. The 10:00 am round of blessings was held in the church’s courtyard and focused on the children of the parish (with the choir looking on). Tricycles, helmets and skateboards got a sprinkling of holy water as well!
