Breezy in Menlo

We’re not absolutely sure, but we think the gusty breeze that picked up yesterday afternoon may have been the culprit behind this flattened construction fence at Oak Knoll School in West Menlo Park. We note that the fence supports don’t appear to have been sandbagged or otherwise braced against this possibility.

The breeze, much more common north of here, has been with us on and off for a couple days now, and this morning, a massive fog bank loomed above Skyline, a condition which often signals incoming cool air from the ocean. It stayed warm enough yesterday for dinner on the patio, but we think we’ll be moving today’s father’s day bash indoors (except for the BBQing)…
