Sand Hill crash threatens PM commute

This crash, which occurred at about 2:45 PM, caused westbound Sand Hill Road to back up from Sharon Park Drive, impeding emergency vehicles that were trying to respond. At least 3 cars were involved and CHP was  first on scene. Coupled with road paving at Alameda and Sand Hill, the westbound commute, including the exodus from the Stanford Shopping Center, promised to be slow.
