Rainfall update: dry since 10/20/09

Your InMenlo team does manage to occasionally travel beyond 94025, as they did Saturday morning (11/14) when they experienced a significant rain shower only two miles away in 94028 (Portola Valley).  But demonstrating what a micro-climate the San Francisco Peninsula is, there was no precipitation during the same period in 94025 (Menlo Park). Reports William Russ: “No measurable rain in my two gauges We have had none since .1″ on October 20th bringing our year-to-date total to 4″. It was 2.6″ the same time in 08′.” So it looks like we’re ahead of the game for this rain season.
