Overnight rain totals are in

The overnight storm  brought snow to the western hills of the Santa Cruz Mountain range but none fell as low as Menlo Park. (Or, if it did make brief appearances during the night, it didn’t last – or stick).  As of 7:30 am, the rainfall from the storm registered .6″, bringing the total in central Menlo to 4.7″, according to Bill Russ’s backyard gauge. Last year’s total to date was 2.8″. Chilly temperatures are expected to continue for most of the week.
