Latest rainfall pushes total toward normal

A lingering puddle on Magnolia Street in West Menlo reflects the dawn this morning. InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ recorded .25″ of rain in both of his gauges from yesterday’s late afternoon deluge that extended into the night. “That brings me to 18.05″ compared to 14.35″ a year ago,” he reports. “This is now within my revised seasonal normal range of 18″-19. Probably more to come. Last year the skies were pretty much rained out by this date.”
