Holiday music at Menlo Atherton Performing Arts Center

Starting tonight (12/2) at 7:00 pm with a holiday choir and guitar concert, there will be a number of performances at the Menlo-Atherton Performing Arts Center over the next week. Tonight’s offering from M-A students includes the annual Name That Riff context and a raffle for custom Gibson SG-style guitar. Suggested donation is $10 for adults, $5 for students.

On Tuesday, Dec. 7, the Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra performs Handel’s Messiah on period instruments (but with today’s voices!) at 7:30 pm. Tickets, available online, are $35-95 with $10 student rush tickets.

There will be a free performance on Wednesday, Dec. 8 by the M-A concert and jazz band from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
