Spotted: Waiting for holiday seafood at Cook’s

As predictable as Santa’s reindeer-pulled sleigh on Christmas Eve is the line at Cook’s Seafood. It stretched well out the door this morning with people waiting to get their cracked crab or other seafood treats from Menlo’s long time purveyor of fish and shell fish. Hint – if you still need to get there – don’t bother with Cook’s parking lot, it’s quicker, easier and less congested to park elsewhere. Hint – for next year – you can avoid the long line by ordering in advance. You then go into the restaurant part of Cook’s, give the counter helpers your name and phone number on the paper provided, and out comes your pre-wrapped order. Total time, about five minutes.
