Big, dazzling ornaments that taste as good as they look!
When your Christmas dinner theme is ornaments – carried out on the table top with multi-layered surprise balls and paper balls filled with delicious Poco Dolce chocolates – why not continue the theme into dessert? No problem if you utilize the magical services of Menlo Park’s Studio Cake.
For this holiday festivity, designer/baker BethAnn Goldberg sculpted five dazzling, large ornaments, each a couple feet tall. [One cake is obstructed in this view.] They featured five different flavor treats: polky dots (vanilla cake with rainbow sprinkles, vanilla buttercream), chocolate decadence (deep chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream), strawberry shortcake (vanilla cake with strawberry buttercream, strawberry compote), the baby b (vanilla, salted peanut butter caramel buttercream, pineapple compote) and carrot.
Earlier this year, BethAnn was the winner of the Food Network Challenge that required creating a Dora the Explorer cake.
