Race to Nowhere screens on Tuesday, March 29

Trinity Church invites the Menlo Park community to a screening of the award-winning documentary Race to Nowhere on Tuesday, March 29. Doors open at 6:30 pm, and the show starts at 7:00 pm, followed by a facilitated discussion. Tickets are $10.00 in advance or $15.00 at the door.
What’s the film about? A concerned mother turned filmmaker aims her camera at the high-stakes, high-pressure culture that has invaded our schools and our children’s lives. Race to Nowhere points to the silent epidemic in our schools: commonplace cheating, disengaged students, and rampant stress-related illness and depression. The result, many young people arrive at college and the workplace unprepared.
