Rejoice! The sun is out and spring is sprung

Rainfall watchers may wonder if we are in a pause before more rain arrives or the season is over at 19.45″, at least as measured in my backyard rain guages. During the first 15 days of March we had rain on two days for a total of .2″. We all became accustomed to rain’s absence. Yet on March 16 forward there was rain nine of 11 days. That is when residents say, “Enough.” Now the balance of March looks dry. Does anyone remember 1998 with 38.6″? By the way, SFO at 20.67″ and San Jose 13.48″.
