Great Clips opens in Menlo Park with $4.99 haircuts
The franchise Great Clips salon opens today in the Sharon Heights Shopping Ceter in Menlo Park. Stylists Carla and Carmen (pictured) said they’re ready for customers – “we’re excited!” The salon will be offering $4.99 haircuts for about a week.
This morning there were about six stylists making sure everything was ship shape. The salon has six chairs and additional flex stations. It will offer “value-priced haircuts” for kids and adults; no appointments are necessary.
The salon is owned by Ray Solnik who also operates a Great Clips in Sunnyvale. Sharon Heights has long been served by Gary Mitome, who’s operated a barber shop in the center for about 40 years.
