Blue Rock summer concert featuring Luce is June 25

by Linda Hubbard on June 20, 2011

The first Blue Rock House Summer Concert, which will feature the band Luce, is taking place on Saturday, June 25 in Menlo Park.  Attendees will get a free demo CD of some of the band’s new tunes.

Emailed organizer Gwen Fuller: “Luce has performed at some of the most popular venues in the Bay Area and beyond, but they asked to return to the Blue Rock garden-setting because they said it was one of the most beautiful places they’ve ever played. Lucky us!”

The venue opens for picnicking and socializing from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. The band plays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. The cost is $25 (cash at the door, to pay the band). Bring a blanket, towel or lawn chair to sit on and picnic dinner to eat.

To reserve your space, email Gwen at and she will provide location information. “The guest list is divided between several live-music and social groups, my personal friends, my gracious neighbors, and the band´s fans,” she said. “There will be lots of great folks to mingle with. The venue´s capacity is 120 people. If you need to cancel, please let me know immediately because we count on your attendance to help pay for the band.”
