Brahms concert featuring Stephen Waarts on Nov. 19

The Silicon Vally Symphony is presenting FALL for Brahms – again on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 pm at Trinity Church in Menlo Park. Music selections include Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture, Op 80 and his Symphony No. 4 in E Minor, Op. 98.

The concert will also feature local violin prodigy Stephen Waarts playing the Concerto for Violin No 3 in B Minor by Saint-Saens on a 1732 Guarneri del Gesu violin. The 15-year-old is now attending the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia.

Tickets can be purchased online in advance – $20 general; $15 student/senior. They will also be available at the door, cash or check only.
