Spotted: Pretty pink sunrise, not rain clouds
Earlier forecasts had rain starting to fall in the North Bay on Wednesday night, moving southward by Thursday morning. But dawn this morning brought a pretty pink sunrise, not rain clouds.
Notes InMenlo rainfall watcher Bill Russ: “We have 2.1″ season to date with no rainfall of consequence since November. A year ago we were at 9.6″ with over 10 more inches to fall. Something in the low teens is a real possibility this season. Let’s see what this series of storms brings.”
A small sputtering of moisture came by mid-afternoon, but to call it “rain” is a stretch.
