Overnight rain yields to sunny morning, perfect for Menlo Parks’ ducks

InMenlo rainfall watcher Bill Russ reports there was a “nice .8″ in my gauges this morning, bringing the season-to-date total to 9.2″. This is a long way from 19.45″ at this date in 2011, yet we are doing some catching up.”

Not that rain bothers ducks much, but the group at the pond near the Menlo Park city buildings did seem to be particularly enjoying the sun that came out mid-morning.
