Staying safe online is topic of free program on May 11
Facebook Chief Security Officer Joe Sullivan and Menlo Park Police Dept. Commander Dave Bertini are the featured speakers at a program called Thinking Smart Online on May 11. The free and open to the public event will look at how kids and teens can maximize the benefits and avoid the pitfalls of using online social media.
Sponsored by the Crime Prevention Narcotic Drugs Education Center, the event begins at 5:30 pm with dinner followed by the program at 7:30. There will be door prize drawings for kids age 9-12 and teens/young adults age 13-25.
