With Zombieland, Al Stahler gives Menlo Park one final Halloween spectacular

For 13 years in a row Al Stahler has delighted Menlo Park and Atherton trick or treaters with the Halloween spectaculars he’s put on in the front yard of his Valparaiso Avenue home. This year’s Zombieland will be his last he says: “My daughter is graduating from M-A and once they’ve left the next they don’t come back.”
Three areas make up Zombieland: first a test to see if you are a Zombie, then an apocalyptic scene of scattered Zombies and finally a Zombie shooting gallery. “Plus, there will be some Zombie flash mob surprises,” says Al.
The festivities take place from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Attendees are encouraged to bring along canned foods to donate.
