Menlo Park – and M-A’s football field – recovers from the deluge of today’s storm

We had a couple of folks keeping us posted on the effect to Storm #2 which started overnight and had pretty much passed through by about 1:00 pm today.

InMenlo rainfall Bill Russ watcher provided an update from his earlier report: “Just in case there is some interest, I measured another 1.1″ just before noon. That is 2.3″ in my backyard for today’s storm and 3.5″ for the storms starting Wednesday. Season-to-date is 6.9″ versus 2″ same time last year.”

And Menlo-Atherton High School teacher put together four photographs she has taken (during the pool construction and today), emailing: “Witness history! For the first time at M-A the football field is deeper than the pool!”
