Spritz of rainfall brings higher temps to Menlo Park
The on again/off again spritz of rain has netted another .1″ inch, bringing my season-to-date to 15.05″. Last January we got 1.7″ on 1/21, followed by .1″ the next day and another .7″ on the 23rd. The season-to-date total was then 4.6″, and no more rain until February 7.
What is noteworthy about the relatively dry January 2013 is the number of early mornings around 30 degrees. The current rain has brought with it higher temps.
From this point on in 2012 an additional 7 plus inches fell. If we could match that in February, March, and April this year, we would be over 20″ — a very good rain year.
