The Injury Prevention program through the Trauma Service at Stanford Hospital and Clinics is teaming up with Sequoia Hospital Health and Wellness to offer an evidence based program to seniors called A Matter of Balance. Through facilitated discussions and gentle but effective exercises, seniors learn to manage falls and increase activity levels.

The program will be offered free of charge to residents of Menlo Park. Up to 12 older adults will meet for eight 2-hour sessions at the Little House on Middle Ave from 1:30 to 3:30 pm, starting May 7 and ending June 25

Participants must commit to attend all sessions. To register, please have people call Sequoia Hospital Health and Wellness, 650-367-5998.
