Mule train is new mode of transportation in Menlo Park
We couldn’t quite believe our eyes when we spotted a man walking through Menlo Park with his three mules, ages 24, 33 and 18. The packs contain his belonging, including a sleeping bag. He’s been walking with mules for over 25 years and year round for the past 10 years. When we asked his name, he would only reply “Mule”. He said all of his days are good days and that he receives a lot of positive comments along his travels. Note: one of the packs is signed “3mules.com”, which indeed is the URL of a website that contains more information about the man and his mules.

Irene — thanks for this article! My sister called me, mystified, saying that she must be losing her mind, because she kept thinking she saw a man walking 3 horses. Good to know she’s not losing it — yet!
