Trinity Church to hold prayer vigil for Syria on Saturday, Sept. 7

Trinity Church in Menlo Park is holding a prayer vigil for Syria on Saturday, Sept 7 at 7:00 pm.

“The service will be a time of prayer and vigil for peace around the conflict in Syria,” emails associate rector, The Rev. Elizabeth Riley. “Scripture and prayers from different faith traditions will be read with the intention and focus on peace.

“It is an invitation to the larger community to gather in spiritual way to pray for those who have died and to pray for those who are in positions of leadership of our own country as they discern whether or not to engage in the conflict. We invite and welcome people of all faiths and background.”

Trinity is located at 330 Ravenswood in Menlo Park.
