Close to half inch of rain falls on Menlo Park

A total of .4″  of rainfall for the day, with a couple of good downpours both early and mid-afternoon. My season-to- date figure is now 9.55″. I think today’s drop was a bit of a surprise, particularly the cloudburst between 2:00 and 3:00 pm. How I hope I can break 10″ in my backyard by June 30!
