Real rain falls overnight on Menlo Park, giving way to sun mid-morning
The predicted overnight showers arrived more like real rain, with a steady patter that persisted through rush hour. Reports InMenlo rainfall watcher Bill Russ: “I had .65″ in my gauge this morning as of just after 9:00 am. Last year we had a similar storm a few days earlier, .60 inches on Sept. 21.”
By mid-morning, the sun had come out but the puddles remained, providing a good point of reflection.
