by Contributed Content on November 15, 2014

Dust off your dance shoes and mark your calendars for Menlo-Atherton High School’s annual music program fundraiser, the Big Band Dance, on Saturday, November 22. M-A music teacher Kent Kurrus will be conducting student musicians from the Concert, Orchestra, and Jazz Bands.

The ensembles will be setting toes tapping at the Ayers (old) Gym on the M-A  campus. Free dance lessons will be included during the event.

Doors open at 7:00 pm for seniors 65+ (free admission but donations welcome and accepted), and the music will continue from 8:00 to 11:00 pm for students ($10) and general admission ($25). Light food and beverages will be available for purchase.

Tickets are available for advance purchase online or at the door.
