City Councilman Ray Mueller to hold office hours at Cafe Zoe on March 2
Emails Menlo Park City Councilman Ray Mueller: “On Monday night, March 2, from 7:00 to 8:30 pm, I will be holding office hours at Cafe Zoe [1929 Menalto Ave.], specifically to hear from the public, and provide information, regarding the Caltrain crossing at the Ravenswood intersection.
“I’d like to thank Kathleen Daly in advance for providing Cafe Zoe as a venue.”

I think this is a very important discussion. Personally, having been stuck on the railroad tracks with traffic going to El Camino. It is a dangerous experience. It would seem appropriate to have another barrier placed on both sides of the railroad tracks. This would prevent a car fitting on the tracks. It is definitely not the best solution, but it might be an option until a environmental survey and proposals are submitted to begin construction. I am not able to attend tomorrow night’s meeting, but I believe this an important issue to address. It would be fantastic for Cafe Zoe to be overflowing with supporter for a positive solution to improve public safety at that crossing.
