Emails InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ: “This is to encourage InMenlo rain watchers not to despair. Our total for the season to date is 16.5″. The rain year of 2010-11′ was the last total over 20″ (in my back yard}. As of this date, March 9, 2011, the amount was 14.35″. By the end of March it had risen to 19.45″. We had a bit of rain in April and May and topped off with .45″ on June 4. Yes, June 4, for a total of 20.3″. I am hopeful!”
