Good news for fans of Borrone MarketBar

We were delighted to spot a chalkboard sign outside of Cafe Borrone heralding the two-day pop up of Borrone MarketBar, which closed unexpectedly last June.

The “market side” will be open on December 23 & 24 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. You can pick up a menu of what’s being offered at Cafe Borrone and pre-order your favorites — foccacia, various appetizers, fresh pasta and sauce, vegetable sides, and partries/desserts —by calling (650) 600-8095. The menu is also posted on the MarketBar Facebook page.

Even better news: We talked to chef Josh Pebbles, and he said he and Marina plan to re-open the restaurant some time after the first of the year.
