Learn about becoming a Project Read-Menlo Park tutor

Project Read-Menlo Park is a literacy program dedicated to improving the reading and writing skills of adult learners. Volunteers are trained by Project Read and work one-to-one with adults. A tutor informational meeting and orientation will be held on Saturday, January 30, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. I worked with Project Read years ago in Mountain View, helping kids improve their writing. And I’ve also volunteered with ESL adult writers. I’m interested in volunteering again. Do you have any programs currently that might do for me? I’m thinking a couple of hours, once a week.
