Menlo Park’s rainfall slowly inches forward

Where did the Thursday and Friday predicted rain go? Not much fell in Menlo Park.

Emails InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ: “Yea, for some rainfall to report. At 4:30 pm, I measured .2″. My season-to-date total is 13.2″ with the prospect of more to fall. Right now a hoped for 20″ looks remote.”

The skies were clearing as of 6:00 pm Friday night (3/4). The photo is looking west from downtown Menlo Park.

Bill checked in again late morning on Saturday (3/5) reporting another .2″ brining the season-to-date total to 13.4″. By late afternoon, it was raining heavily.
