Harpist Krista Strader to perform free concert at Menlo Park Library

On March 16, the Menlo Park Library will host a free performance by harpist Krista Strader. The event will take place at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, March 16, at the Main Library at 800 Alma Street.
Classically trained from age four, Krista Strader graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Music in Harp Performance from Biola University, where she was awarded the Outstanding String Musician Honor for two consecutive years. An orchestral and solo harpist, Krista combines 32 years of playing the harp with her experience gained from nearly 20 years as a full-time professional.
Krista has performed for international royalty, Hollywood celebrities, and government dignitaries. She has performed with TheatreWorks Silicon Valley, Oakland East Bay Symphony, Sacramento Metropolitan Orchestra, Disney Entertainment, All-American Boys Chorus, and Napa Valley Symphony.
Strader’s premiere recording, entitled The Journey, is a collection of Celtic and popular melodies performed on the Celtic harp.
When not performing at public and private events, Krista Strader teaches private lessons at her harp studio in Pleasant Hill.
The performance is free, thanks the Friends of the Menlo Park Library.
