Cafe Zoë adds wine to its mix of coffee and tasty treats

Zoe pouring wineWhat’s that behind the coffee bar at Cafe Zoë? The bottles filled with red and yellow liquid? Yep, not only can you sip coffee at the popular Willows neighborhood cafe, but you can stop by for a glass of wine.

The first glasses were poured last weekend at what owner Kathleen Daly termed a “soft opening.” Red and white wines from around the globe are offered, picked, Kathleen explained, to keep  prices reasonable.

An added bonus for long- time Cafe Zoë fans is the presence of namesake Zoe, Kathleen’s daughter who’s all grown up and a recent college graduate. She’ll be helping her mother out all summer.

I think this is a great addition to Cafe Zoe. Now I can have my AM coffee and PM glass of wine (with a salumi or cheese plate). Not to mention the afternoon lunch menu, I may never want to leave.
