Menlo Park Library centennial celebration – take two

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on September 12, 2016

arabian-nights_vertFollowing our visit to the Menlo Park Library centennial celebration last Saturday, InMenlo contributing photographer Gina Hart stopped by to check out what was going on later that afternoon.

In addition to face painting, kids could get a temporary henna tattoo, something much in demand.

The 1001 Arabian Nights section featured both belly dancing and visits with an Arabian “knight” of another kind.

The biggest hit of the day was certainly the large pirate ship, and, of course, all the pirates milling about.
