Spotted: San Francisquito Creek flowing again

While there is water in San Francisquito Creek year-round from the bike bridge near the Stanford golf course, the flow stops well short of the San Mateo Drive bike bridge at the end of each rainy season.

We’re guessing that the Creek was flowing heavily during the weekend’s rain storms, but it was still flowing nicely when we looked late this morning.

InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ reports: “I do not know when the additional rain came down, but another .1″ is in my gauge this morning. Now at 2.3″ for the rainfall year that began July 1.”
