It’s a soggy Saturday in Menlo Park

Update at 3:30 pm from Bill Russ: “Another .3″ of rain this afternoon. My season-to-date total is now 5.1″. This compares to 2.5″ same date in 2015 giving cause for encouragement that we can exceed 20″ for the rain year.”

Locals woke up to the sound of rain this morning in Menlo Park. Reports InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ at 9:00 am:  “I just came in from checking my gauge and was pleased to find .3″ and a bit more. My season-to-date total is 4.8”. The Mercury says ‘Light rain for today.’ I think .3″ exceeds that call.”
