Steady rain overnight leads to lots of flowing water in Menlo Park
Afternoon update: Bill let us know that after 7.30 am an additional .15″ of rain fell bringing the year-to-date to 6.5″. Last year, he’d recorded 3.35″ on this date.
Yes, that was rain you heard on your roof all night long. It finally let up a bit about the time the kiddies were going to school, but a light mist remained throughout the morning.
InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ emailed: “6” fell while we were sleeping. That is grand! My season-to-date total now 6.35″.
InMenlo contributing photographer Robb Most was out and about early taking photos of the wet conditions in Menlo Park, and we feature two here.
