The rain comes and goes in Menlo Park

by Linda Hubbard Gulker on January 22, 2017

Afternoon update from Bill: “.2″ to add to the total. Now at 19.5″, closing in on the 20″ level, which is a key threshhold for an entire season.”

Rain overnight yielded to blue skies over head this morning. But now the dark clouds and showers have resumed. Weather forecast is for one more day of this, including thunderstorms, and then a dry week.

Emailed InMenlo weather watcher Bill Russ: “An additional .5″ as of 7:30 am. Now at 19.3″ season-to- date, with likelihood of more to fall.”

Photographer Robb Most snapped a photo of a kayaker on San Francisquito Creek. We’re thinking it may be Manfred Kopisch, whose kayaking the creek video we linked to last week on InMenlo
