Rain overnight is first of what will be continuing showers

We admit we missed hearing the sound of rain overnight but Bill Russ’s rain gauges did not. He and Sally emailed this morning: “.05 in the rain gauges. Season to date total 1.15”.

The accompanying photo shows the soon to be leafless vines at Portola Vineyards, a sight captured last week.
