Explore the Japanese American National Museum virtually on December 28

Join the Menlo Park Library on Monday, Dec. 28, at 4:30 pm for a live event exploring the Japanese American National Museum’s on-going exhibition Common Ground: The Heart of Community. This object-based guided visual presentation will chronologically examine the Japanese American experience from the 1860s through the post-war era. Register online.
Among the many notable artifacts on display is a Heart Mountain barracks, an original structure saved and preserved from the concentratioin camp in Wyoming.At the end of the visit, you’ll hear from a survivor of one of the camps and gain insight into the first-hand experience of living through history.
