Umbrellas come out to start the school day in Menlo Park

The overnight downpours continued into the morning prompting parents and kids walking to school to open their umbrellas. The rain let up mid-morning, and InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent reports .41 inches so far today, bringing the year-to-date to .57 inches. The forecast calls for a bigger storm on the way.
