Rain amidst sunshine in Menlo Park today

You could look out the window this morning and see rain falling — and sun shining. That’s a condition that often produces rainbows, although, full disclosure, the one shown with this post was not taken today.

InMenlo weather watcher updated Thursday’s precipitation to 0.15″. And there was 0.31″ as of noon today (February 2).

That brings the season-to-date to 11.29″.

Heavy rain is forecast for Sunday with flood warnings in effect.
