Showers rule the day in Menlo Park today

You needed your raincoat and umbrella handy if you planned to be outside for any length of time as showers were frequent in Menlo Park today. There was often just enough break between them for a quick dog walk.

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent recorded 0.13″ in his gauges as of 4:00 pm. This was on top of 0.21″recorded when he was out of town on Wednesday. That brings the season-to-date to 14.33″.

According to forecasters, a bigger storm is on tap for tomorrow accompanied by high winds, with more rain through Wednesday.
