Overnight rain turns to morning showers in Menlo Park

Update at 4:30 pm: Those morning showers turned into a number of downpours throughout Saturday afternoon. Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge showed 0.26″, bringing the season-to-date to 19.77″.

The pounding rain on Menlo Park rooftops overnight turned to a mix of sun and showers Saturday morning. The forecast is for no more rain until this evening (but who knows!).

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge recorded 0.35″ on Friday, March 22, and another 0.11″ as of 7:00 am Saturday morning. We’ll provide updated totals for today later this afternoon.
