Dark clouds yield no rain this afternoon in Menlo Park

Look westward earlier this afternoon and you could spot very dark clouds that looked like they were going to open up at any moment. But they did not.

At the same time, driving east on Sand Hill Road there were blue skies and puffy clouds in the distance.

InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent updated his measurable rain report for yesterday (March 29) to 0.63″ and an additional 0.05″ fell overnight. Combined those bring the season-to-date 21.08″.

This evening could yield more rain and a thunderstorm but Easter looks to be rain free.
