Morning rain yields to blue sky and puffy clouds
The skies opened up around 6:00 am this morning, and the rain continued until shortly after 10:00 am.
It was a good drenching: InMenlo weather watcher Dennis Nugent’s digital gauge recorded 0.40″, bringing the season-to-date to 21.95″ far less than last year’s 38″ around this date.
The forecast is for more rain to fall tonight yielding to a mix of clouds and sun Friday and the weekend.
While the temperature remains cool, the liquid amber trees are beginning to bud.
